When I enrolled in journalism school, I thought I'd become an intrepid girl reporter like Nellie Bly. Then, I spent a Christmas Eve day waiting for rescue divers to pull a body out of the water. That's when I realized my true passion lay in another direction.
So I walked away from a career in reporting to build a freelance writing business focused on education, employment, and opportunity. I've spent the last six years telling stories that help people change their lives for the better.
